How often should I drain the portable air conditioner?

Our units are designed to recycle water collected however they may require to be drained when operating in highly humid conditions. We also recommend draining prior to moving, as to dispense of potential condensation that formed after shutoff.

My Portable Air Conditioner is not blowing cold air. What can I do?

Ensure the temperature setting is lower than the room temperature, and that the compressor has kicked on (note this may take up to 3 minutes). Lastly, if your unit has an error message or if this didn’t resolve your issue contact De’Longhi directly.

How do I drain a portable air conditioner?

Locate drainage cap on back of the product near the bottom or in the middle. Place an external pan directly under drain hole, then remove the cap. Allow the water to trickle out. When completed, be sure to replace the cap back over the drainage hole.

Do portable air conditioners work without the hose?

No, these units are designed to work by expelling hot air through the 4 foot hose and out of a window/door (or semi-permanently in a room by drilling a hole through a wall.) The hose length cannot be extended as unit will not function properly.
