1. Can the UB500 support more than one device at a time? Yes, the Bluetooth adapter can support up to 7 devices at a time. However, It can only connect to one BLE device at a time.

2. What operating systems are compatible with the UB500? Currently supported operating systems include Windows 10/8.1, Driver is needed for Windows 7. Please note that UB500 is not compatible with Mac, Linux, TV, or Windows 8, and that two UB500s cannot pair with each other.

3. How do I install the driver for Windows 7?

a. To install the driver, visit the TP-Link website, search “UB500” and download the driver in the “Support” section

b. Open file “UB500_Driver.zip”, click through the following “Windows” file and click on “setup.exe” and finish the installation

4. How do I connect to PS4 controller? You can try 2 things,

a. Unpair the controller from your PlayStation

b. Hook the controller to your computer via the USB cable and then hit the PS Button. Once the controller is detected you can disconnect the USB charging cable.

5. What is EDR and BLE technology? EDR, Enhanced Data Rate, is a Bluetooth specification that provides faster data rates. BLE, Bluetooth Low Energy, is the latest technology to lower power consumption to allow the device to operate at the optimal level.
